Academic Background

I give, and I give generously.  I will not - however - provide monies to any organization if their benefaction to those in need is conditional.  In other words, "we" will feed you, but you must first listen to a sermon (or the like).  Or, if their foundational principles contain disclaimers that are exclusive (i.e., if you do not believe what we believe, then damnation awaits you).

These are books (and brief summaries) of works recently read and/or in process of being read.

I hold firm to the conviction that what you read is very important as it goes to the fundamental principle of:

what goes into a person informs what comes out of that person.

This is also a precursor to the larger subsection of the Website where I will provide more lengthy book reviews for those who give a rat's behind.
